I have wished for a bumper sticker that says "This is all the fast I go." (Which is the speed limit or slightly under, or considerably under if there is ice, snow, fog or heavy rain.)
Daytime, I'm watching an Icelandic series The Minister. At episode #6 of 8, it's shaping up to a Nordic tragedy. I'm still hoping somebody pulls him out. There are a few scenes of nudity and sex that I'm not crazy about, but no violence. Kind of an intriguing story -- especially in tandem with Borgen on Sundays and The West Wing on DVD.

It seems that if the police here would issue more tickets for speeding perhaps folks here wouldn't drive so fast. I've seen folks who appeared to be driving art least 20 mph above the limit, often in suburban areas with lots of kids outside playing. Honestly, I have no idea what the police do here. We have one of the highest per capita rate of home burglaries in the state.

Speeding seems to be bad everywhere you go . If you are doing 5 mph over speed limit you are getting passed by every car and getting cursed at. Could never figure out what the mad rush is all about. Especially the road going up the mountain which is full of S curves where a Deer or Bear can come running out of the woods at any point , it has a 35 to 45 mph area in different areas and they want to go 60 +.

We are watching Ghosts, it's on CBS and streaming on Paramount. It is based on a British series. I really like it, silly but very funny. A young couple inherit a house and want to make it into a B&B, it's haunted and the ghosts don't want them there. The Wife winds up being able to see and talk to them but the husband can't. Little stories start to intertwine as she gets to know them. It's cute

That's also on CBC Gem, to which I subscribe. I haven't looked at it because... I guess I was afraid it would be stupid. But silly is okay, and very funny is good - so now I will.

Vera, I didn't find Ghosts stupid at all, Silly but worth watching in my and my husband's opinion

I love Ghosts...lots of fun.

Ghosts is now officially my next comedy to watch!
Tonight, I used up another Numbers on DVD (I'm budgeting that very carefully; it's my private guilty pleasure) because the streaming services were acting strangely. Maybe there is snow in my region, or some other interference. Not unusual in wintertime.
Anyway, I finally signed up to You Tube, so the Old Guy can watch Premier League football without commercials. That, amazon prime, Knowledge and CBC Gem all together cost about half what our satellite tv subscription was before; we watch whatever we're in the mood and never have to see another advertisement. That was my main reason for quitting: I didn't mind commercials in the commercial break, but all the networks were putting their ads right over top of the programmed picture. That's just unacceptable.

Okay, I watched the first two episodes. It's silly and funny. I really did not see some of that stuff coming!

Ok, I'm in. Where is Ghosts available? I'm thinking of trying out a reality tv show n E channel. It's about children of famous people going to work on a farm. Starts Wednesday benighted. Should be good for a few laughs.
