Looks like we've had 3" of snow... rain on top of that! The plow is now trying to clear my drive....it's like concrete! The company sent an SUV instead of a truck & the guy is just spinning his wheels on my hill....after plowing this place for 12 years, they should know what it needs!

So far rain here and windy. Thankfully the power stayed on. If this had been snow it would have been impossible two feet or something like that.

It's snowing again...on top of the ice....lovely.

27 now going to 29. We got half the driveway shoveled yesterday. HEAVY! The rest is frozen now. Snowing again.

Oh no. We don't need any more snow anywhere around here.

The combo wind and high tide is making for waves compleatly crashing over the stone jetty down at the beach. Most of it is under water anyway this morning. Sun left so it feels chilly.

Better weather today....32 & sunny....some melting in the drive, but back to ice right now.....sigh...maybe tomorrow it will all melt, supposed to be around 40......Ordering some calla lilies from Brent & Becky's.....

Still in the 20s, no melting yet...more snow ...an inch...tomorrow morning....coastal storm for the weekend...how nice....Jan. should have been finished weeks ago, what a draggy month!

Sun is out now, but they are saying a "mostly cloudy" day. 31 now going to 39...maybe some melting? Possibly another inch or two of snow overnight.

It's 43 now and sunny! Muddy but feels pretty good. back to freezing temps by tomorow

Hoping that weekend storm takes the track out to sea and goes away. Not sure how much snow expected with this immediate next one. Supposed to be rain over night then change and be snow in the morning. Not sure how much.

Calling for 1-2" here....and since it's 43 out there, 90% of the ice has melted off my drive....most of it is wet, hoping it will dry by tonight....don't ask me why, it'll just be covered & icy again tomorrow morning....sigh! I hate to wish my life away, but Jan. & Feb. just get me down.....

I usually hate January. Last January lots of snow and it stayed on the ground. So far this January mostly cold.

The freezing cold is difficult for gardeners to "enjoy".

29 degrees, snowing lightly. Going to 35 and maybe a peak at the sun later.

Just stopped snowing here...another few inches of nuisance snow! Single digits for tonight, but supposedly this cold air will keep the coastal storm away from us.....

Cloudy, 32, going to 36. snowing lightly. It began around 9 AM.

It's done. It's trying to clear out now and sun wants to come out. No snow on roads or pavement. Only some grassy areas and the car have a slight coating.

It stayed rain for most of the event.
