Thanks for your well wishes....I guess since I was bent over trying to shovel, I didn't have very far to fall....& the puffer jacket, which makes me look like Michelin Man, helped! Not even a sore spot today...Jim, thanks for the spring update.....I need that after waking up to 13 degrees with an icy forecast for tomorrow....& forget Tues. Looks like I'll be stuck in the house ALL day with the high of 12 degrees!
Too cold for me already today and the forecast is for much more colder on Tuesday.
So I thought it looked like way much snow for the 5-7 inches predicted and today I read in our local on line paper that we got 9.3 inches here in our city being the highest total on Long Island for this snowfall.
Temp is at 31 right now & raining....so, obviously freezing....hoping it changes to all rain, but not supposed to happen until late this afternoon...UGH!
Thankfully, my town escaped the ice...it was 35 all day...my son's town saw ice all day....my 16 year old grandie tested positive for Covid....now the entire household will be tested....sort of glad I haven't been with any of them since Christmas week!
It's actually a granddaughter...her school tests every student, every week, & she only had a runny nose, so she never thought she would be positive.....waiting to see how many others in the household have it.....Icy & cold here this morning.....hate the bitter cold coming in tonight, but thankful it's not for more than a day! Still a snow cover to protect the plants...I hope.....
