Spotty sun, 46, going to 50. No ice. Friday I'll stay home - snow, rain, ice, very windy. Just heard on NYC radio - 1 to 3" of snow.

The snow they were talking about for us on Friday is now gone from the forecast. Instead, they are saying partly sunny. With their track record, we'll probably have a blizzard! Hilarious!

We had an icy patio early this morning. The rain has moved in and it is 37 so no more ice. Calling for the sun to come out later, we will see!

No ice here but rain all night and this morning. It never did clear up as afternoon fog rolled in.

Hope the snow totals for Friday stay low. Seems to me they keep changing the amounts they say expected each new forecast.

Snow for Thursday night/Friday morning, then they took it out of the forecast. Now, it's back in the forecast, but only 1-3 inches starting tonight. Looks like it will be heavier on the coast. 29 going to 34 and partly sunny today.

More overcast than sun, breezy, and a weather warning - "wake up to snow". Sleeping through the day seems a better choice.

I like the stay in bed choice as to dealing with the expected snow.

They are calling for 3 to 5 inches here...I am not happy but know the dogs will enjoy it.

I'm curious to see what Chilly thinks of it, having come here from Georgia.

Beautiful, soft, white, clean...doesn't help - it's still snow. Plows are busy!

Chilly was very skeptical and very cautious but adapted fast enough. It's tapering off. No idea of how much we got. It's too difficult to measure accurately. I don't even try.

Thought I posted earlier, but I guess I didn't hit the "Finished" button. Confused

We woke up to about 2 - 2 1/2 inches here. 25 now with a high of 31. Sun keeps peeking out; I hope it helps melt it.

We have about 5''. It is nice and light and the dogs love it. They are snoring away from being out a good while playing.
I am not going to like the mess and same as you Marilyn some melting then a big freeze. Ice is not my friend Grumbling

Too much snow no matter how much. I just hate it. My car is still covered and so is the driveway. Did get back stoop by kitchen door and all the front walkways down to the street. And the sidewalk. I think that's it.

Back inside now and about to make French Toast.

We shoveled (read: pushed) the 2 1/2 inches off the driveway and walkways. We were going to go to the supermarket to get a snack for tonight, but we're going to make oatmeal peanut butter cookies instead. Another log on the fire! Thumbs up

Mmmmm...cookies! I made chicken soup...comforting....also fell while shoveling....got to the top of my hilly drive where the plow had pushed the snow......bent down to grab another shovelful & the salt had melted the snow underneath....slipped on the slush, but I had my puffer jacket on, no harm done....all that so I could read my morning paper! I was not plowed out until 2 this afternoon, but my Toyota went up my 6" snow covered drive & onto the road with no problem....not even a skid!
