GigiPlumeria said: I wasn't sure how to answer that. I know I have a few that seem to be a cross of Arabicum and other species (e.g. Obesum) based on the texture of the leaves and the size of the blooms. Did your Adenium bloom?
@Aashna, just realized the tall one has buds and based on the color of the buds could be white.
GigiPlumeria said: Hmmm I am trying this "professional bonsai soil" to see if it makes a difference. The mix does not have any organic material.
My usual mix is 60% perlite and 40% potting mix.
Aashna said: Got it regarding cross species
Thanks Gigi. I am too banking upon white . :hearts:
should I wait for the buds to bloom or prune right away after repotting( as kaktus suggested , waiting for few days after repotting as well)
What is the cost of hybrids at your place approximately? If you don't mind sharing
GigiPlumeria said: I always want to wait until I see the blooms first but that would be up to you.
I bought them the same price as other adeniums. I don't think big box stores here price it differently. So my Arabicum Obesum Fineline was $29 (seedgrown).
Aashna said: Will wait to see the blooms as you suggested
It's different here I mean I didn't checked in other nurseries . It was 6 times more .
Aashna said: What happened. I don't see any activity here. Hope all well
GigiPlumeria said: Quite time. My desert roses are starting to wake up! Yaaay!
I have to keep myself from overwatering!
There were issues with uploading photos. But you can upload Hulk's photos in the database. That works!
Kaktus said: This is another example of suckers try to take over the grafted scion, I thought it was still 'hot girl', until I see the flower
GigiPlumeria said: Sorry to hear that.'one is doing fine now. Just posted a link to see if admin can fix it for you.
Kaktus said: I still can upload photo, no issue at all , it somehow take a longer time to upload from mobile phone, but faster from laptop.
