Wow, what a lovely veiny anthurium selection. each and every one of them are so unique, you just need to grow all. I am fond of heart shaped foliages, even the plain one, but the nerves pattern really add lot to it

The regular form has narrow white lines along the veins. as leaves mature the white get narrower


This cultivar I received labelled as 'Silver goosefoot' is the opposite, the white portion gets wider as the leaves mature.

Gina, I can see why Zingiber collinsii is a favorite although I would find it impossible to select a favorite from your collection.

Very nice, never see one before. I would instantly think that was a Calathea or Maranta, Must be verry unusual for Zinggiber to be striped like that.
It really is exciting to grow some unusual thing

The first photo is the regular Hedychium Dr. Moy...been growing this like 20 years.
The 2nd is known as Tahitian Flame but I think its also called Dr. Moy 'Improved'. Also had this for YEARS
The 3rd is one I found at an area nursery a couple weeks ago...I THINK its also a Tahitian Flame...but it almost looks like a reverse variegation...mainly white with green stripes as opposed to mainly breen with white stripes

Amazing gradation. Dangerous to see that three, because once you see one, you will just need to grow them all, those triplet is dazzling. Yup the third is the most striking, but with three gradation, it made them so petfect

The anthurium is toooo cute

Tofi butterfly ginger is extremely common here. The Dr Moy original is very common, but the Tahitian Flame is more rare and more costly. Its not one that is sold around here. I don't think I probably would have ever gotten one originally if I had not gotten it as a trade years ago, its even more expensive NOW with the plant craze. A 3 gallon container of most Hedychiums here sells for about $20-25. They don;t sell Hedychiums in box stores like Home Depot and Lowes...I am not certain WHY, but they just never have. You can only find them at independent nurseries around here.
But the third one, above, I lucked into for the amazing price of $8 at a little nursery about 45 minutes from my house.

Strange it is.
Even with so many plant get imported nowadays from America and Europe into my country (as well as exported), Gingers alike was always never been included, and Aroid is always on top.
That makes any nursery selling non aroid becoming so special.

I find forsythia are beautiful when in bloom. But that only covers a couple weeks. Boring the rest of the year. So, I got this Kumson Forsythia to entertain me with lizard-scale like leaves for the rest of the year after blooming.
