I finally got around to putting together the little mushroom. It turned out pretty cute, it is really short I will have to find a special place for it. The vase I used for the stem is round at the bottom with grass and flowers painted on it. I filled it up with small gravel and glued a golden top on it.

Holly, how many/much do you lose to hail damage?

I haven't lost any yet. Haven't had much hail and not terribly heavy.

That is my biggest hesitation in making any for the yard--we DO get it , frequently and large in storm seasons. But they are just so beautiful...

The glass ware is fairly heavy I would make one or two and see how it holds up against the hail. If they break you are only out a few $$ as they are so inexpensive to make.

The other thing I did with one of mine was glued marbles to the bottom of a bowl and use it for a bird/ bee waterer. It sits on a plant stand

Hello, what type of adhesive do you use for these? They are so pretty!

I am using E-6000 on mine

I wish I could find a small yellow votive cup to make one look like a daffodil. I have some odd and ends I just need to get to making some!

Was going to get a start on it by buying some E6000. Who knew it came in black and one should LOOK at that? I just pulled one off the rack, didn't notice until I got home it wasn't clear. So I will have TWO tubes whenever I go get the next one.
