It seems that I was right the first time, there are buds on the Salvia microphylla Flower Child that arrived here last Friday. I think I can also see buds forming on S. Raspberry Delight and maybe on S. chamaedryoides Marine Blue. We have not been able to do exactly as the instructions for them because the weather has been totally uncooperative. We have had high winds for several days, so the plants must be moved into an area of shade, only place we have where the winds won't tear them up. Today we had hope for the dappled sun, for the wind slowed down, but won't happen since possibly heavy storms will start this afternoon. If so, the plants will be put inside our storage room until all this is over. Maybe tomorrow we can finally get them out into some sunshine, but then they must be moved inside again because of night time temps that could drop into the mid- to upper 30 degree range for a couple of days. Maybe by next week, we will be able to actually get them into the ground. Of course, if need be, we will cover them if bad weather threatens and it is bound to, at some point. Oh, just looked out the window and we now have rain coming down, but no wind. That's good, we already had a small tree blown down in the front yard on Easter. The weather is definitely thwarting our garden plans--
