I like the green throat and the overall look - but it flowers too early and it has not enough buds for a registration

Closer look

July seedlings are off to a great start! Hurray!

Nice to be able to hot and cold test your seedlings Dave!

I know you're working on lates Sue, but early isn't a problem Confused Bummer on the low budcount, along with color I like the whimsical shape.

Love the veined red and last pattern Eagle!

Deer decided to raid my seedling bed Grumbling so lost quite a few scapes, so some plants have zero scapes now and they were doing so well. One had 8 scapes on a 3yr old plant I thought that was great now it has none. I used the granules and since we have had very little rain thought they were protected. Hoping some are rebloomers so I can at least verify who is who if they had bloomed last year which I think all that I put in that bed had. Here are 2 that didn't get eaten and are FFO not that great maybe the deer should have eaten these instead.
I think this might be sdlg 814 x Sonja's Broken Sunbeam

The second was just peach without any pattern - but the first showed up with an interesting flower today:

Easter Pastel x On the Town-so bright & cheerful!

I normally don't like blooms like this, they just look like blooms where the color was just screwed up genetically somehow, but this one is really nice, quite different looking to me.

Loving all these June & July seedlings! Some really nice creations.🤩

Here's one that's probably my favorite so far. It's pod parent is Sinners Anonymous and it's a FFE on a 2020 seedling. It also has 2 scapes growing from one fan...I have read previous discussions on that which were interesting. I've never noticed that happening before. Thinking

Hurray! Yeah!!! Like Larry I'm not overly fond of the variegated blooms, but this one is really nice! Is Wacky Wednesday available over your way Sue? That could be a cool cross to try. I think....I have no idea what works when crossing variegated blooms. A few sdlgs will bloom this year from my first clueless tries. Smiling

Nice purple Tim. Thumbs up

Don't you just love it when a cross works like you imagined Elena. The sdlg has a cool orange sherbet color and a few orange horns.

Summerbee, sdlgs that have multiple scapes are interesting. I need to check a few of mine that did it last year and see if they are doing it again. Pretty bloom on the sdlg too!

Up to now I wasn't able to find Wacky Wednesday within the EU and I fear that it has not reached us before the import ban was in place. The same with Clown Pants Sad
As far as I have heard the dips pass the trait much more often - in tets I have own experience but up to now only with Undefinable which seems to be a kind of special one in many respects.

This seedling out of Magic Amethyst x Undefinable is extremely northern hardy, every single flower is patternd but it opens only really good after very warm nights. Today we have a cool morning and it looks like this (all the other plants are perfectly open now - its 8.00 o'clock in the morning now):

Here is the peach sibling I mentioned - heavily striped parents (Rich Howard and a quite similar sibling, not mine):

This is a funny one - every flower has this bitone/striped look; the flowers are big, bud count is o.k., scapes are tall - I'm not sure if this could be a cultivar, at the moment I use it for working on stripes:

Thanks Sue. I'm never sure if the variegated ones should go dark or light when crossing...I did both. My dip program is very small and limited to Sculpted forms.

Those sepal marks are different. You don't think they are from the colder temps? If they're not and something that can be bred you might have your own clown pants! Smiling

The anticipation grows as the buds develop....slowly. The cold temps last week really slowed things up. Crossing Fingers! there will be something blooming next week.

Every single flower of this seedling shows the brushed sepals - picture of today

Looking through my pictures (3rd flowering season now) I can find none without the 'pattern'.

This one shows its pattern constantly the secons season now:

Jazzy Nights x late seedling

after cooler nights more cream and cherry red, now more peach and tomato red

This one is getting better the second season, many buds, high scapes, starting late - Emerald Starburst x Fred's Red

@SummerBee I love how your seedling's midrib match the sepals! Very nice!
