Thank You! It has >20buds, including side-branches, and scape is about 3ft (not measured yet), and is nocturnal (began opening at 7pm yesterday). I am hoping a specific sibling will be just as nice, as the scape on that one is over 45"! Crossing Fingers!

Orion, I noticed the buds and branching. The scrape is standing firm.
You know you're a hem nerd when a good scrape is as exciting as a beautiful flower. Hilarious!

Been a few days since I had a chance to look at the sdlgs while finishing getting the garden ready for opening tomorrow.

Sue, that first Rich Howard sdlg is Thumbs up Late Starter x Blown Away, the sepals are interesting but what I really like is the orange overlay on the sides of the midrib. Gives a lot of depth to the pinched crispate form.

Pizza Deluxe x Space Coast Chomp Chomp is the dark purple also from that cross Diana? Nice tendrils on the reddish one. Also like the two with the pink blush in the last image.

Tim, love the two narrow purples!

Orion, I'm with Will. So many big green throats are sharp edged. The feathering of the green and red is so pretty and different. Nice!

So good to see all your seedlings, keep them coming!

It is so wonderful seeing such beautiful seedlings from everyone's garden. There are so many that caught my eye to name here. But I think I share and agree with everybody's favorites.

A week of vacation means two or more weeks of catching up in my garden. Weeds are rampant and galore. Sighing! But the nice part has been seeing seedlings blooms in my garden. It is peak now and I spend a good part of the day taking pictures and doing crosses. Now that's the fun part! Smiling

Some polymerous seedlings from last couple of days.

Char, yes those are sibs. One sib looks like one parent, the other looks like the other parent.

Loving the Wolverine babies! I have a couple of them somewhere...

Orion, I love ACAXGG201. It has the Herrington "look." They are supposedly rust-resistant, so let me know if you want me to test it for you. Whistling

Karen, those are beautiful seedlings--I especially like the last one, the near-white. Lovey dubby

As I stand here in the garden I'm just looking at number designations on these. Have to go to my records of 3 years ago. It takes a long time to get a bloom here in PA. Sorry

I'm enjoying seeing all the seedlings from everyone. Some that caught my eye were Diana's Pizza Deluxe x Space Coast Chomp Chomp - the dark purple one, Tim's Blazing Hope X Chicago Girls, Plasko's Heavenly Fire Arrow x Wispy Rays, Karen's Plum Smoothie X Lavender Blue Planet, and Kenny's 20-58-C.

Now the lates here start and I should spend hours in my seedlings garden - but there are only some minutes early in the morning and some in the evening left for caring about the plants (irrigation system is a wonderful thing!). Pics from yesterday afternoon - colors are faded or yellowish

Thanks, Diana, Nan, Kenny, and Debra! Diana, you have good eye! Wolverine is a great parent - seems to make very nice offspring. That is one reason that I have many seedlings with Wolverine as a parent.

Nan, when I have enough increase of the white seedling, I am happy to send some your way.

Orion, I agree with Nan, ACAXGG201 Along Came Amanda seedling is a beauty and a keeper. Love that green throat!

Gary, that first one with the applique is really nice and is the favorite for me.

Kenny, I too like 20-58C. I love everything about it - color, watermark, and gold edging. It's beautiful!

Sue, Emerald Starburst x Fred's Red is so eye catching with nice branching as well. Is it colorfast?

I'm so glad you said the dark one was a sdlg too, Diana! Would love to see an image of it by itself, it looks really good from what can be seen in that image.

Lots of different midribs on yours Gary. I like that first applique and the last pink w/pattern!

Sue, your lates are starting already? I'm still waiting for pretty much any seedlings to get the season started! Had 1 lonely sdlg blooming today and thousands of green buds stubbornly refusing to open.... Sighing!

No clue what cross this is- I can't even think of anything I might have used to get it. This is its second year and the "bleeding" veins are consistent. I'd say it's possible it's not a seedling, but I can't find anything in my list that this matches. Ideas??? Holds up well in the heat. Bloom is about 4" Scape about 16"

I ended up moving all my flowers (and selling most of my registered daylilies) twice in two years. Lost tags, separated fans, and I am just barely beginning to figure out what's what (not really making progress, but I'm trying). So, most of what's in my list I no longer have, I just haven't deleted it since I need it for IDing DL's.

And for some reason, I can't upload more than two pix... Grumbling

ShakespearsGarden I love the first purple, the white edging makes it stand out. Sorry about losing labels, it's happened to me. The pattern on the second one with the bleeding, I've never seen that before, very interesting.

DancingGenes, thanks : )
First year bloom on it, and I am happy with the look. It'll get another year to see if bud count/scapes improve. I love the stripes, speckles, dots, etc- so that seedling is right up my alley!

Anyone want to chime in? What kind of improvement do you see in 2-3 year bloom for count, etc?

Hard to say - we have ugly weather at the moment, cold nights, rain in the morning, very sunny days. Compared with the parents color is similar sunfast as on Fred's Red - ES is not really sunfast here.
The seedling has a better flower form and stronger scapes than Fred's Red, the bud count seems to be the same and it flowers quite at the same time here. ES has a low budcount in my garden - need to move it to a better place.
