I'm running waaaaaaay behind this year, so this will probably happen over time. I've had some beautiful blooms so far this spring, and the one I'm totally thrilled about this year is:

BRAVERY - Joe Ghio, 2012

Next is my 2012 favorite, SPECTACLE - Joe Ghio, 2011. This is a huge flower!

STRAWBERRY FREEZE - Thomas Johnson, 2012

NOBLE GESTURE - Keith Keppel

PICTURE BOOK - Joe Ghio - Still my favorite pink!

EDGE OF THE WORLD - Sutton

LEMON CLOUD - Painter
Thumb of 2013-04-18/Betja/e9a265

And some Arilbreds:
ONLOOKER

EYE TO EYE - Keith Keppel

EXOTIC TREASURE - Rick Tasco

That's it for now. More later...

Betty, thank you bunches!!!

I love your pix. I had been considering Spectacle. Lives up to its name.

My son, who lives in the napa valley said you were about a month ahead of us in Spring blooming, so maybe in a month I will share some pix myself. It has been the wierdest Spring in 5a.

Katherine

Thank you, again

Awesome pictures Betty as usual. You always have the ones that I "wish" I could grow.
I can see why you like Bravery, it is gorgeous. I think I'm going to be happy with what I have already ordered and I think will grow here. Keep posting, I always love your pictures each year.

Bravery is a pretty thing but I must admit that I find Spectacle heart stopping!! WOWOw WHAt a beautiful Iris. I have no idea what that one cost, but if it was a daylliy, it would be $500 plant!!! Stunning!

I love thte pretty pink one too. I don't have any of the Arilbreds but I love the sweet simplicity of them.

Beautiful Iris, fantastic photos!

Thanks guys! I seem to be at full bloom with both the roses and irises now -- such a fantastic time of year here, just before it really heats up!

EYE FOR STYLE - This Blyth iris is always sooooo photogenic!

RIM OF FIRE - Sutton

VANILLA BERRY - Sutton

TROPICAL GARDEN

MARCHING ORDERS - Ghio - This is one of my absolute favorites!
The first picture is the closest to the true colors of this gorgeous iris.

SECRET WEEKEND - Blyth

GRAND CLASSIC - Tasco - I'm including the first picture because the true color is nearer to this color than in the other photos. My camera seems to always lighten up the dark blooms unless I catch a bright patch behind the flower, and then sometimes it gives the truer color.

BURST OF GLORY - Jedlicka

As I was scrolling down through them, I kept thinkng, she put the most beautiful ones first, but no, they are all the most beautiful. I know of nothing that is as glorious as the bloom of a Tall Bearded Iris and yours are perfect examples of beauty. THank you so much for sharing these, Mona
