Immortality takes a lot of flack, for lack of form, bad branching, etc., but I like the old thing! It's not overly tall, and will stand up in a tornado.Blooms freely, and has that wonderful reblooming thing going on, as well! What's not to like ?!...Arlyn

I like it too, since it's survived some terrible neglect and multiplied and kept on blooming. It's one tough Iris! Beautiful, too. Mona

Form has improved since its introduction, but I see it & the older Bayberry Candle enjoying a spot in quite a few gardens.

Seems that those iris that carry the "rebloom gene" ,or whatever you call it, are all VERY hardy. I've read that they have an "internal" defense against rot, and it must be so, as they seem to thrive on the extra water, and fertilizer, that spell doom to the "regular" iris....Arlyn
