Really beautiful, Dot -- I love how lush all your blooms and plants are. And I like your new privacy fence! We finally had one put up at the back of our property and I love it. Makes us (and the cats) feel nice and safe and it provides a nice backdrop for the plants/trees too.

I love love love yellow Iris. I think they are so bright and happy. I have Total Recall and a few others and they just light up my day when they bloom. Of course, I love the all. I have seen several ugly daylilies, but I don't remember an ugly Iris.

Dot, yours are so pretty. I could never pick a favorite. I enjoy your photos so much!!!! Thanks and please keep sharing.

I think you may have edited in "Cranfil's Gap" b ecause I sure don't remember seeing that photo. That is a very different Iris. What colors. I love it too!

Thanks so much everyone.

Paul, you have certainly provided us with a lot of color too, thanks.

Betty, My clumps are so depleted this year, because I sold too many. That is not going to happen again. So there aren't many garden shots.

Mona, Yes I edited in Cranfil's Gap. I finally found the hybridizers picture of it. It wasn't blooming when I went to his house.

Ooh, CRANFIL'S GAP looks like a Sue iris! Check it out on p.1, Sue! Isn't this just a wonderful time of year? I'm really having to cut down on the iris now and am not buying any this year, but when I see them bloom I start trying to figure out where I could put more...

Just lovely blooms Dot, a feast for the eyes! I especially love the ones with the unusual or rich exotic colors like the first one Dewuc Whatic.

I went hunting for any additional photos Cranfil's Gap but only found the same one you did on the Iris Society Encyclopedia database.

A few more, I'm coming to the end of what new is blooming. It's so sad, but the daylilies are starting to bloom, so I will be busy soon.

Dot

Connection again, I just LOVE the colors on this one.

Restless Heart, new to bloom here this year. So many of my new ones that I got a couple of years ago, are just getting smaller and will not bloom. So much money thrown away.

This is probably my last post of the year for irises. I have enjoyed showing you my garden.

God willing and the creek don't rise, I will be here next year, God bless. My wonderful son is better now and able to help me a bit in the garden. Soon he will be able to do all the things he did before. Thank you all for all your prayers during his heart surgery.

Wonderful Dot, They are all so pretty and I've been going to some of the guys websites and drowning in the beauty of all the different Iris. I've found that alot of the ones that I really really like are older, say within 10 years, but they are stunning. haven't bought any new Iris in ten years or maybe more, so I'll be adding some this year. I still think the ones that I have are breathtaking. I don't think age has anything to do with beauty and Iris. I sure do appreciate you taking photos of your iris and posting them for all of us to share. You are a blessing to all, Mona

Glad that your son is better, Dot.

After looking at the intermediates (IBs) perhaps people will think about them as well. Most are very good growers.
