My 'Tinkerbell' is blooming now. Third time! It was a mislabeled bulb too, btw — I got it 2.5 years ago in a Lowes grow kit labeled 'Apple Blossom'. Happy accident, I like it better anyway!

I'm just a hobby houseplant gardener, this is my only amaryllis. Now that I've proven to myself that I can keep one alive and blooming though, I've got my eye on a Papilio…

Plants in my garden being grown for the local botanical gardens. The very late two days of freezing weather knocked down several of the blooming Amaryllis stalks, but at least they did not all succumb.

Here is the fourth generation of the hybrid I crossed. Looking good. Have a few more getting ready to bloom - will be interesting to see if they look like this one, or are different. I took pollen from this one, and plan to pollinate the others that are getting ready to bloom.

This is my hybrid I am working on. These two are both from the same set of parents. Third generation of Naranja x Picotee. The orange one looks like mother Naranja, but the mix of genes are really showing through on the peach one. I am considering crossing it back with Picotee again - hoping to get that red lining along the edge of the petals. Any thoughts on that?

White amaryllis nice soft white/green accent color around the outer petals , and 4 blooms per stem. Has long, slender petals that are white in color with hints of pink around the edges of the smaller center petals.
