Oh gosh, that makes 'Murder Mystery' $75 for a single fan then. Thanks for the heads up Wendy.

Thank you Vickie for finding Murder Mystery, it's a hard one to find. I did order it last fall shortly after starting this thread. Pat (Daylily99) had it listed for sale in a classified listing for spring 2023 shipping. I can't wait to see it blooming!
Cottage Gardens has so many daylilies. I could get into real trouble looking through the list... Whistling

Well all the talk about tall daylilies and I decided I needed something from Paul Owen. Well being the last to the party it appears he sold his property and I wont be buying any more from slightly different. How I missed that Ill never know. Old gets you from all angles.

Pam, if you are interested, Cottage Gardens sells P. Owen's Dreamliner for $30. Height is listed at 50 inches.

Just so you know, Dreamliner here in my Ohio garden was worse than terrible! Small tiny plants with wiry scapes and 4 buds. I wish I had known, I had four fans you could have had! Gone now!

I got my plants directly from Paul. They were small when they arrived, and never grew at all....

@Deryll Perhaps you could add a comment to the database entry with notes from your experience. I had Dreamliner on my Must-Have list (though at $75 it was not going to make it to an order until the price dropped), but now I have marked it as "No" so I don't make that mistake.

Lori- I paid $165 for mine, plus shipping! Perhaps it grows better further south, but if that were the case, I would think the plants directly from Paul would have been larger. I just don't want to run it down in case it has a better outcome elsewhere. Mine was here two years and didn't change at all. Plants like that don't last very long in my garden. I just don't have the time or the patience.

Oh my goodness Deryll
I can't imagine tossing a $145 plant!

The top price I feel I can reasonably spend keeps creeping up, but the thought of losing an expensive plant usually keeps a lid on the calculation.

Deryll, I had that experience too. I'm not even sure some of Paul's plants survived the winter. I'll find out in about a month but some show no signs. And they didn't do anything last summer either.

I got a few of Paul's plants last April. They didn't do much, all four are growing now. I'm in Dallas so unless I got a plant in March they usually don't flower the first year due to the heat. I'll see how they do this year and post.

I need Little Infant (Monette, 1973) for white breeding because it is a small, evergreen rebloomer. Failing that, I might have to use Sugar Cookie, but I don't want to have to lose the yellow.

Does anybody still have it? It is distressing how rapidly even award-winning daylilies are lost.

You may want to ask on ADS region 10's social media links. Someone close to the breeder's garden may still have it.

Hi, do either of you guys still have 'Little Infant' daylily?
If so, would you be kind enough to contact MikeHuben (above) and let him know where you obtained it as he dearly desires it? Many thanks. Thumbs up
@MikeHuben The photo from Chalyse is tagged from Grace Gardens, which may be a good place to start searching? Thinking

Oh, it is ok! Perhaps you might be able to contact them?
Maybe I will go back this summer and get some pics of it.
