Amazing how that happens

Received a replacement order from Odgen Station Daylilies yesterday for four plants lost over the Winter. The Marlatts kindly replaced them for the shipping cost. They're soaking in water and will get into the ground within the next week. Hopefully they will survive this Winter as one of them is Breathless Beauty, which I've been trying to acquire for the past eight years, having left it at my last house. The other three were Chicago Knobby, Big Kiss, and Stargate Portal, all of which I'm happy to have replaced.

Today while shopping with DW, I found Mini Pearl looking sad & lonely so I offered her a ride to a new home so she willingly jumped into the cart. DW said "we're not here for daylilies" as she and Then I found Raspberry Eclipse already with child so I also offered her and the pod child a new home also. Still space available Up North Pictures real soon now.

Dave, I am harsher than you.
I saw a few today "with pod", and ignored them at HD.
I was there for Black Kow compost and potting soils, and almost stuck to my guns. I did spontaneously buy more grass seed and a fruit-fly trap. But zero plants.

So proud of myself.

I've seen some interesting pictures of it, that is for sure. I hope I like it. I read somewhere on the forum that Brian Reeder noted its exceptional rust resistance; that's what tipped the scale for me.

It didn't catch rust either year that I had an outbreak

@DeweyRooter Nan, thanks for mentioning that you had an order of Louisiana Iris coming in. I had completely forgotten that I wanted to order some this fall, so I went out to the web site for Three Shovels Farm and ordered a variety of colors. The ones I planted from them last fall are growing well, and about half bloomed in the spring, despite the Christmas flash freeze.

While I was on the website, a couple of daylilies caught my eye (of course!). I ordered:

I am trying to build some nice clumps around my garden.
