No marmots, but we get all kinds of other critter happenings around here...this a.m. I have 'possums wandering around, they're out in the daytime...a bit worrying since that's not normal behavior...

I think the 'possums are cute and gunny though that's not a popular opinion.....lol...

Saturday I checked out the hillside all the way over to my neighbors side and there was no sign of recent digging, it's very dry and rocky. Later I talked to my neighbor, he said he saw the marmot a couple days ago and the dog gave it a good chase, he is of the opinion that it won't come back because of the dog, I hope he is right.

This is where I like to see them, at the entrance to the park.

Are you sure that's a buzzard? Could it possibly be an old goat? They HAVE been known to find their way up onto roofs.....

You know, you could be right! No, he used to always wear wings, so I'm pretty sure he's a old bird.

I thought you had buzzards that fly..... instead it was a human. Too much. We have feathered buzzards here and they sit on top of the silo and I keep saying they are waiting for me to die. Darn ugly things.

JB, the old buzzard on the roof used to fly.... jets. And we do have the feathered ones too. We live near a greenbelt and a canyon. We see them swooping around all the time. Maybe they're waiting on us too?
