Yep! Just curious, what was the price?
PS. Have to change message at the bottom of my profile to "Stop looking for more roses, I am out of space!" nodding

$14.95 for a bareroot. Only one DA rose available and that was Moilunex. I know I spelled that wrong. Rolling my eyes. MA is a rare rose this season but I THINK Chamblees has it but be prepared to spend heavily. I thought about them since I have family down there who will be up in a few weeks but at 55 bucks I'm not THAT interested!!! And went to site and sold out. Sighing!

Mike, here is another picture of EV ( too cold and rainy today, will plant tomorrow).

The second rose I bought with PAOK was Cherry Parfait. I have ordered this one from Regan and planted, but it's very slow developing compare to other roses, and decided to have a backup. Wanted this rose at certain place.

Also wanted to share my spontaneous rose: Easy Spirit. Bought this rose while it's blooming, still same flowers (and a few new) almost 2 weeks!!!

"Many thanks for getting in touch regarding your recent order of a Princess Alexandra of Kent rose. I am very sorry to see it has become damaged on its shipping journey. Our despatch team does work very hard to package the roses with care, but occasionally FEDEX can be rough with the package and this can cause damage. Please accept our sincere apologies for this."
Shipping damage? LOL nodding
PS. Told them that a lot of people are unhappy with some of their roses.

That's a pretty sh#tty thing to do, to blame a severely damaged rose on FedEx, when the damage obviously existed prior to shipping. I have a great deal more respect for companies (as well as people) that simply own up to a mistake, rather than deflect blame.

zuzu said: I'm cleaning out a file cabinet and I ran into an old bill from 2003 from Wayside Gardens. I had forgotten what a bargain roses were in comparison with other plants. It's a bill for Dainty Bess, New Dawn, Gruss an Aachen, Charlotte, and Tamora (all grafted bare-root roses) and for a 3-inch pot of Omphalodes 'Starry Eyes.'

The roses were $2.60 each and the Omphalodes was $9.95. I still have all of the roses 20 years later, but I lost the Omphalodes years ago.

I forgot about wayside gardens! that was one of the mail order places where I first started ordering roses lol I got some amazing but mislabeled roses haha. It Still kills me that I don't know what this one hybrid musk was they sent. It was amazingly large aggressive and so fragrant I wanted to dig it up but I ended up leaving it at my first house .
