I'm enjoying this morning's flower show! Those that really stood out to me were Miss Me, Cobalt Ring, Ima Bigtimer (what an edge!), and Egyptian Queen (bought that one once and lost it).
I'm really awful at selecting and posting pictures from my IPad, and just about everything disappears before I can get them here. But I have a bunch of pictures I want to share, so I'll probably just do a few at a time here and there.
Beautiful bevy of blooms. Thanks, everyone for sharing. I can't pick a favorite. I guess the one that stood out the most was Ima Bigtimer.
If you overlooked this one from Floyd Cove last fall and if you love the oranges, this flower is for you. What an incredible edge. I will post two photos of Dancing Jubilee, one from yesterday and one from today.
Name: Susan Virginia (Zone 8a) God is the only thing that matters.
Me too!
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
We had the opportunity to get DANCING JUBILEE several weeks ago. After seeing Ann's pictures, I wish we had. I will be on the lookout for it, and it WILL be a future addition to our garden. The AHS database says it is an extra early bloomer and 6.5" bloom. I will probably wait and order it from Floyd Cove for next spring.
