Love the flowers and also LOVE the smoochie poochie. No wonder you couldn't resist him.

Today Heather Grace was lighter in color but still very interesting. It showed some orange color was was sorta electric, but my camera couldn't capture it.

Heather Grace, take note of the pleating and cristating, especially on the second flower. The second flower is a little raggedy, I think it opened during the hot night and the pollen dried up. I showed it only because of the pleating, folding and cristating.


And this is why my pollen is missing.

Debra in Texas - What's the story behind this new flower? I must have missed, or forgotten, what was posted before. It's a nice purple!

Pam - I was transfixed by Stinger - had to look that one up. It combines two of my favorite things - blue eyes and teeth!

Dot - The more I see Heather Grace, the more I like it. I'm hybridizing for pinched petals and have several of Curt Hanson's. I may need to add HG.

Ann - Thomas Tew does look large and commanding.

Debra, in October 2010, a prayer request was posted on DG for this man's family. I followed up on it, and long involved story later, bought this seedling in 2011 to register in Josh's name. There were two fans. One I sent to his mother in California, this bloom is from the other one. Josh's life was the motivation for my Green Amber Gardens idea. I did have a website for it, but just now, only have a blog page (because it was free and easy to set up ) I am deeply happy to see the bloom and look forward to what it will be once it "settles in" and matures.
