Cindy, your Memories of Oz seedling is fantastic! I just wish the tets could display that fantastic green color as well as the dips do. It seems like they're just about always a chartreuse rather than pure green, although I did have one bloom of Emerald Prism that had a great green throat.

I am a novice with dayliliy hybridizing. I only began my passion with daylily's 4 yrs ago. This will be my first year at hybridizing. Why would putting dip pollen on a tet seedling get there juices flowing, so to speak? This statement really has me scratching my head. I believe you, Michele, but am wondering who figured this out?

I really have no idea who figured this out but that is what I was told to do by numerous people. For whatever reason, it works. I'm sure there is someone here who will know the answer to that

Is it just me or does it seem like there have been more exciting patterned seedlings this year than ever before?
