Debra I learned a long time ago that UFs and Spiders hate any amount of shade, that my really improve in full sun.

Ann your really doing well with the whites, another nice introduction.

Very nice seedling Dot, even without a name. I have a couple daylilies that will never be registered for one reason or the other, but I like them so I keep them for myself.

I hope to convert everyone of you, we all love to look at UFs so why not work with a few.

Incrediably busy here finishing garden chores before bloom begins, painting the house and other assorted projects.

The seedlings have all been a joy to see each day.Wonderful patterns, the whites, UF's/spider's....scapes are starting to show, another two weeks at least before anything is blooming.

You know what Fred, I saw your statement about spiders and ufo's not liking shade and I must say I have a spider bed that gets half a day shade and half a day sun and I have not had one bit of trouble with them not performing. In fact I set tons of seed in that bed. Maybe its the zone difference too. Now just maybe they are not getting the bud count that a plant would get in full sun, that is always a possibility. Tells me that if I have a nice seedling in shade with a low bud count that maybe I should move it to full sun before discarding it to see if bud count increases. Will definitely keep that in mind.

This one is a bit lighter yellow, and has a greenish overlay. Quite pretty for the size.
It was raining so hubby snatched it to photograph.

Early morning photo and it looks just like this, except that it is
a darker purple base color with a vivid lavender eye. Also emo.

Shirlee, the substance of the Victorian Lace cross is amazing! I have Victorian Lace, and I'm happy to see what it can do! The second one is stunning!!!

Natalie, the BUD on the vlace cross was huge. I couldn't believe the size of the blossom.

And the second one is so contrasted with the edge that I couldn't believe that one either.
It does fold back a bit later in the day, but just a bit. The size of the second one grabbed
me too. Both of these have been crossed. This is the first year that I have been comfortable
with crossing seedlings.
