I've just been decapitating all my bolters. They're all doing something.

Something?

They're producing buds.(all except red rum, of course). Time will tell whether they are flower buds or offsets. My plan is to keep cutting off flowering structures until they give up or die!

Please keep us informed at to which happens. Birth or death.

Jackie, As Terri indicates, buds can mean flowers or offsets. Unfortunately, planting the flower spike usually just produces flowers. Sometimes you do get lucky, but don't get you hope too high. This is one time I hope I'm wrong.

I am having so much fun watching mine and waiting to see what the results are for the rest of you.

I have to admit, I'm enjoying it too.

I beheaded a few of mine yesterday and planted the flower stalks. Will keep track and report back also.

I can't wait to see all the photos from everyone's results.

Waiting for the next news report. I look at mine every day, at least once a day. Don't want to miss anything that can be reported at 11 or another time of the day.

I didn't plant mine, just left them out in the open. I know what you mean Twit, about not knowing which they're producing - these ones are so small, they're just a tiny blob of green.

That's what mine are looking like Jacki. Just itsy bitsy tiny green blobs. Time will tell.

I'll keep watching them, in fascination. Oh, you could waste a lot of time on this, but it's so interesting.

Chris those new offsets are looking like they may be normal ones, not blooming offsets. How wonderful. I need to check on mine.

Sskeptical pessimist here. I'll bet you get flowers!

On both of them at about 3:00 you can see a chick that's coming from underneath the big leaves. I would think if they were going to be flowers they'd all be coming from the top. Just a thought - we'll see!
