Yes, but they are so slow growing and I read online but can't remember where one of those blogs that you can apply rooting hormone and wrap sphagnum moss (like air layering basically) to make it root faster. I have not tried it and I am not sure about mine being all outside hot and humid if it will cause root rot. But it would be nice not to stare on bald spots Whistling

Here's the top blooming but got sunburned as hubby drastically cut the oak tree branch that was sheiks shielding it. So I stuck it in a pot and it rebloomed. Here is the bottom part with the 2 keikis, I will wait for the roots to be fully developed before taking them off:

So now I will have 3 Vanda Pachara Pink.

Sorry for the messy background. It is too hot 🥵 outside I need to start deweeding!

You are Welcome! the Vanda Pink was $19.99 when I bought it and now they are $39.99 🤯 so it is nice to be able to propagate my long leggy ones!

I don't have much blooming, but I have some new growth on a couple of Dendrobiums that weren't looking too well over the winter:

My new red flowered orchid has doubled in size with 5 new shoots:

I thought this Phal was a goner when the center rotted out, but it already had this little side shoot going:

I split my "Chameleon" into 3, but I didn't know if this little stub could grow:
Thumb of 2023-07-04/DraDiana/884238 apparently it can. Hurray!
Here's what is still blooming:

Hurray! on your blooms and healthy orchids D'Oh!

I will have to check my phals closer, I thought I was thinking doing them a favor by having them outside on my lanai but now I am not to sure. I will have to probably figure out how to let them thrive and rebloom again.

It has been my experience that if I just ignore them Phals will rebloom for me. The other day I noticed something yellow in a camellia and it was a mini phal I had stuck in there and forgot about many months ago. Whistling

My Phals on the cork wreath mount are outside in the lower part of the cage, shaded by the other orchids in the morning and the shade cloth in the afternoon. They get thoroughly misted every day when the weather is hot, but get a lot of good breeze in the spot they're hanging so they dry out fast, too. This seems to be working well for them, they all have new growth. I think the key is generous water in the hot weather, to keep them cooler and well hydrated.

I confess I've been going around in the afternoons with the hose and giving a bit of extra water too, then turning on the fan about 4pm for an hour or two when it's hottest. Usually just the Vandas get extra attention, but when it's hot like this and not clouding over in the afternoons, everybody gets a shower.

My Vandas are loving this hot weather. My hubby trimmed the oak tree that was shading my Vanda. It burned the V. Pachara but my sun loving Motes Vandas are loving it. Still looking good this 4th of July morning:

I'm not spending much time outside lately, it's too darn hot. Somehow though a few plants have bloomed.

I have nothing new blooming out there, but "the Rockettes" and my nice spathoglottis are keeping a few flowers around. Buds starting on more of my little semi-terete Vandas like Gigi's but mine never bloom generously like hers.

I can't take the heat either, and just rush out at intervals to pick mangoes then spray the hose around and turn on the fan for the orchids to cool things off. Weather forecast says we "May" get some rain on Saturday. Sheesh!

This last bloomed in December 2022. It seems to do well under lights; I really like how the pseudobulbs have that "rubescence" purple shading on them. The flowers are strongly scented of cloves -- the only Catt. I have with that scent!
