I agree on the shoes 👠 so adorable!

Lindsey beautiful blooms! Lovey dubby the twisty blooms are my favorite.

It rained here again so I started removing the middle leaves of my Vanda so the upper and lower branches both have sets of leaves. I might put rooting hormone and spaghnum moss to speed up the rooting.

Another surprise spike on C. gaskelliana coerulea x self. I saw it peeking out at me when I moved a few plants to spray. Oh, hello!
Thumb of 2023-07-08/dyzzypyxxy/0feef1
Had to hold the flowers out from the side of the basket to get a picture.
Thumb of 2023-07-08/dyzzypyxxy/dffde1
Then I propped the stem out with corks and a little micro-sprinkler. Hoping the flowers will re-orient themselves the right way up.
Thumb of 2023-07-08/dyzzypyxxy/d98f6c
This plant is very scruffy, and due for re-potting and I have all the stuff ready to refresh it nicely, but, guess I'm waiting until the flowers finish now . .

Spraying down the orchids and turning on the fan early today - it's cookin' out there! No clouds visible in the sky = the brutal sun just heats up the place.

My sweet little 'Yellow Bird' putting out a couple of nice flowers. I'm always pleased to catch them at this stage before they're entirely yellow. They seem to put on the red dots in hot weather, much less in the cool.

Sorry for the repeat on C. gaskelliana coerulea x self but today it is so much more blue than it was yesterday. Not doing too well on flower orientation, though. The one facing away from the camera is the only one that's upright . . . D'Oh! Hilarious!

BigBill looked at it and he thinks the bifoliate is probably a C. maxima hybrid, looking at the strong influence of the maxima lip.

and the Vanda -
[quote]The purple spotted Vanda reminds me of a popular hybrid that has been making the rounds, it looks like Vanda Gordon Dillon x Pda. Mimi Palmer. Very pretty, purple, spotted with a more open form than Gordon Dillon.

There you have it. Thank Bill. Thumbs up

Prabhi, I tried to find your pretty hybrid in the RHS database, Epidendrum cristatum as Pollen parent has 9 entrees, but I am striking out trying to identify one.

I had no luck identifying Prabhi's plant with OrchidWiz, either. Just not familiar enough with Epidendrums to be sure what it could be.

Flowering here for the first time is Cym. erythrostylum 'Springfield':
