Major rain/severe thunderstorm event in East Texas last night & still going today [south of us]. At one point 10% of our electric co-op's meters were off line, including ours. Power was back in < 5 hrs when I checked in the very early a.m. Maybe this ends the severe drought rating for our county.

Made it to 101 so far today.

Chili...hadn't thought of that. There's so many good, yummy cold weather dishes. Picked up everything for a nice lasagna when shopping last week. Maybe this weekend I'll put it together.
If it was 101 I sure wouldn't be thinking of baking a lasagna. All you can eat ice cream sundae dinner sounds more like it!

Well after our morning fog burned off it was sunny the rest of the day. Spent most of it outside getting stuff done. During an inside break around noon I bagged more seeds. The weather tonight showed us dry for the next 10 days, boy that'll be a change. I might be able to finish cleaning up the garden for winter. Temps were 51 & 71.

High today was 74, low tonight mid-50s. Cloudy and looked like rain much of the day though none fell.

Another soggy day in a series of three. It's supposed to stop tonight and be dry for a week…a whole week! Today was still very rainy, 62 for a high, 54 tonight.

Oh joy, they just changed our final high temperature today to 102.

Beautiful day after some morning clouds. Sunny, cool, 61 for a high, 45 tonight. The Daylilies don't want to open, it's too cold for them. It should warm up toward the weekend.
