Hopefully no leaks. My house is on higher ground so no flooding thankfully.

I was wondering if you were ok too Rita after seeing the flooding on the evening news. That is just a crazy amount of rain to fall in a short time.

We had sprinkles all day that didn't amount to much. A good day for running errands and furniture shopping. Wanted a new sofa, settled for a new innerspring futon mattress...great dane, rain, mud, big dirty feet.. A pretty sofa wouldn't stand a chance at staying presentable. Futon has a blanket cover that gets washed every week.
So today was cloudy, damp and chilly, with temps 44 & 55. First start of the woodstove for the fall/winter season was this afternoon.

Larry, those are nice plants--hop they do well for you after your awful season. Really hope you have a great growing year next season.

Char, is it time for the wood stove already?! Here it is just cooling off enough to stay outside in the garden in the afternoon. But next week is supposed to be hot again.

Cloudy, 64. The rain should be ending around 1 pm. It wasn't terribly productive, only producing 0.6" in three days. Tomorrow, the sun comes out and things warm up for five days, with a mini Indian Summer.

Fall has come in very hot and dry . Going to be 78 on tomorrow . Here in zone 5b in ONTARIO .

So it was still raing here this morning but has stopped now and trying to clear out.

We had a lot of rain. JFK Airport had over six inches and and a town on the south shore of our county had 9 inches.
