Nice pics. I'm not familiar with 'Lewis and Clark' and it doesn't seem to be in the database. Please add it if it's not already there. I love the buds. For some varieties, I think they are pretty special.

Rose, do you have a picture of Lewis and Clark hosta? I added it to the data base just needs to be approved and then we can add data and pics. Thumbs up

Two Minuteman and a Fragrant Queen.

Frosted Jade (front, center) has already bloomed and finished.

These are still in the *baby* bed -they were new plants last year, I think.

That's pretty Jewell. I don't think mine would bloom in the shade but I am thinking about some red daylilies near the edge of the shade for morning sun. Got to be a good bloomer though. What kind of hosta is that? Is that Stargazer? I was thinking about adding some, they smell wonderful don't they.

Susan, the blue vision hosta and star gazer lily are on the northern edge of the shade garden. It gets some late afternoon sun in the summer. Lilies and phlox have so much fragrance it makes for a multiple sensory experience walking through the gardens. nodding

Good advice! I wanted to plant some red daylilies and a stargazer, I have a white phlox I just got in the mail. I can't wait to smell the fragrance. Thumbs up

A week later and I have more in bloom. I'll try to avoid those I've already posted, but bear with me if I accidentally include one.

'Blue Wedgwood' - not particularly spectacular blooms and this garden always gets a lot of junk dropped in it from the tree just the other side of the fence.

Rose, I love the Hostas and your Hibiscus. It does not look familiar to me. I have a red one called 'Lord Baltimore' but the leaves are different.

Ann , Great pictures! The weedling reminded me of some I dug up from various places in the yard, they came from the Midnight Rider, which was here at this house when we moved in. I planted the seedlings or weedlings under the birch tree and after three years they bloomed. It was sweet, I felt like a proud mother, of some type. *Blush*

Very nice!

Ann, are the light areas on Summer Music more of a cream color, or do they have a yellow cast? There's a picture in the DB that shows yellow, but I don't see an explanation given for the difference.
