So, I did skip some in the middle of the Hill, I was running very short on time. Just glad I caught most of them that day!

Holiday Delight is striking! It's interesting how different Alabama Jubilee looks in the different locations - very orange, through red-orange to red.

^^Those two caught my eye as well. Nice pictures also of Whale Tails, Greywoods Lady Be Good, Smuggler's Gold, and Huckleberry Candy.

Holiday Delight is an old favorite…I love the eye searingly bright reds and oranges, including Alabama Jubilee which is such a great plant. Greywoods Lady Be Good is in that category as a hot coral. She had a very good year last season.

Ok. Here's the bad news. July 10 was raining. The longer I stayed out, the heavier it got. By the time I got to Daylily Hill, many of the blooms were ruined. A shame, as the yard was at peak bloom time. I still took the pictures for an accurate bloom count but a lot of the later ones are not fit to post. However, at least half the yard was still looking good, if extremely wet. So if you object to rain on flowers, I would pretty much skip all of the July 10 posts. You have been warned! I do think the rain can enhance the colors, before it wrecks the flower…

I always love the color of Cranberry Cove. I love the name, too.

Blueberry Candy was one of my very favorites here. I gave mine away to friends in the North because of rust, but I often wish I still had it. I have bought a few "look-alikes," but none have been quite as pretty.

Impressive clumps of Margaret Seawright and Cherry Lace. I also liked the pictures of Storm Shelter, Just Plum Happy, Pastures of Pleasure, Flight of Swallows, and of course, South Seas. I like Country Vista and that little yellow one together.

I got Flight of Swallows from Char, I've been super happy with it…

You know I love Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Your pictures of it drove me to get my own.

I also like Two Sues. And you are right: Wonders and Miracles is pretty spectacular! But my favorite of this bunch is Butter Cream.

Butter Cream has such a nice round, flat form, with the brilliant yellow. I saw mature clumps of it at the National and was very impressed.
