The two stray totally black cats are still here in my backyard. I think they have no where to go and are just not going to leave.

I was watching - I always root for the #5 horse because it always has a green saddle blanket with a "5" on it that looks just like the Michigan State Univ. "block S" ... unfortunately today "my" horse came in next to last . (Luckily I didn't actually bet any money on the race.)

Thanks for the good wishes for Mopps. Was able to get him out using a log carrier. He was not very happy about it but it worked fairly well. It is just that the time will be coming soon where I have to decide if keeping him going is good for him or am I just doing it for myself.

Bob, that will be a tough decision to make.

Those times are tough to go through, but you will know it when that time comes. You're doing everything possible right now. Enjoy the time you still have together.

Yes, the decision to let our beloved pets go is surely the hardest. They just can't tell us in words what they want us to do for them. Bob, my heart goes out to you and Mopps.

The eyes will tell you. At least with our kitties it was that way.

When Sammy was 15, she just had a heart attack while drinking water. She died quickly. Sad as it was, it was easier then having to make the decision. She was healthy right up until the end. Wish they could all go that easy and be without pain up to the end.

Thanks, Alice, they are just about grown now, one heading to college in the fall. Winston would be proud!

Bob and Mopps - from me as well. As was said above, you will know.

It was time to check to see if I need to order more Raw Frozen Food for my dog Lily. Go to Viva Raw Website and see that there is a new seasonal protein to be ordered. Goat. Wow, I think that is great. Ordered a box of the raw goat dog food for Lily.

I love the way Viva has the seasonal rotating proteins to be had. Makes it interesting to order dog food.

Might sound wrong but wish just one would go in their sleep or quickly. Every dog I ever had has had a tough end. Molly was so hard because she lost use of her legs due to nerve damage to her spine but otherwise they said in great shape for her age. She acted like a young dog for 13 and a half years. Sadly what is going on with Mopps is very similar. He has had a pretty good day today , making it on the steps without help . Will just have to hope his blood work does not have much bad with it. Thanks again everyone.

It doesn't sound at all wrong to me, Bob - I wish that for myself, as well! (Just not anytime real soon...)
