Oh, they're so cute, Gigi. You're going to have a lot of desert rose plants, enough to plant a <short> forest of them pretty soon!

I have some of those tiered pot set-ups, too. My problem with them is that you either have to rotate them around every second day, or the plants on one side don't get any sun. So I have nasturtiums growing like crazy in them, but the back 3 sections have no plants in them at all. A mirror behind might help . . .

Yes Hilarious! that is the plan. A Gigi mini desert forest Hilarious!

Great idea about rotating them. Once they are out of the back porch, all sides will get some sun but some would get more sun. I do have some rotating plant caddy that I can put underneath this tiered stand.

I got these in my very late order from Glasshouse Works in November (I ordered in April 2023). I ordered the yellow one, they gave me the purple stripe free. I think I'm going to pot them up together I like the color contrast. The greenish one really is yellow/gold. My camera changed the color

So many good ideas today! Gigi, your adenium babies are adorable and they look good in that set up.
Elaine, what a great idea to use that tower for nasturtiums. Thumbs up
Gina, that combo is fabulous together.

Makes me wish I have the resources and the place for a greenhouse! :hearts:

Alice curious to see how many you can fit in your plant stand. Finally my seedlings are outside now. They can handle mid 40s or higher.

GiGi Greenhouses don't have to be expensive. You can get premeds that you build from a kit pretty inexpensively. The cheapest are hoop houses. Those can be erected in winter, then taken down in summer

Gigi, the plant stand came from Amazon and went together like the Lincoln Logs from days past. Hilarious! I can fit three 6" pots on each shelf but not all the shelves can be used as some are shaded by others. I really like the pots I got, they are inexpensive and quite sturdy for plastic pots. I ordered them in larger sizes also.

Just a bit of snow here, it is supposed to stop in a couple of hours.

It sure does look pretty, Ursula but I'm glad to see your pictures and not see it outside my windows. We just caught the trailing end of that front last night, and it swept by so fast we only got about 15min. of rain. D'Oh! Crying

It will be cold tonight here, but "cold" is 47deg. not 30's or 20's at this time of year. I am thankful I'll probably only have to cover the tomato plants and the Vandas for one night. It was 80 and muggy here yesterday.

I harvested a beautiful yellow tomato this morning, and made a fritatta with fresh greens, chives and tomato for breakfast. This is the luxury of Florida winters.

"This is the luxury of Florida winters." Sure is, what a beautiful tomato.

The front brought us a good bit of rain and finally a couple of the daffs opened. Waiting for a few hundred more.

I bought this recently. I think if I can resist the urge to overwater it, I have a reasonable chance of growing it onto a blooming size clump. This is Strelitzia juncea, the 'leafless' Bird of Paradise.
I almost bought one of these 20 years ago, but passed on it.
Peeps in FL already seem to have a really hard time blooming the Orange Bird, S. reginae, because its naturally too wet here.
I figure if I make this plant a small personal drought container I may have a chance
