I have never been able to understand why its never bloomed. Big old roots. Certainly looks bloom size (especially after all these years). It's in light where a few other Vandacous orchids get the same light. It gets food. That one and my Maggie Oe Red Ribbon.

I am almost 100% positive that I found your hybrid Gina, and it is not a Brassavola nodosa hybrid. I can not find Sunlight Yellow as being registered anywhere.
What I think that you have there is actually Bsn. Sunny Delight. The parents are Brassavola perrinii x Guarianthae aurantiaca. The Orchid Wiz program has several images which look just like your plant. The lip shape reminds me of the aurantiaca lip and apparently the perrinii has imparted floriferousness. It is a very pretty and simple flower. Sunny Delight has several awards.

Maybe I shouldn't have added Yellow. They might have just added that to the tag as a descriptive. This is the tag

I forgot to add this one - a leftover Valentine's Day "rescue" from Lowe's - not yet on the market down rack, but too cute too resist. Whistling

Yes. It's hard to get a good photo of this plant. The mount curves and it's not easy to view the other side where there are about 8 flowers
