Thanks!!! They look so much better in person though. The camera doesn't pick up the true colors.

Ive shown a few different sibs to the seedling in my avatar. The first two pictures are the last sibling to bloom from that group and a bit different from the others in size and shape. I have a scary drs.appt., news wise this morning, and I hope they are a good sign The third and fourth pictures are siblings that bloomed for the first time in the last couple of weeks.Thumb of 2013-07-29/gardenglory/94f53f

So many beautiful seedlings everyone! I am so far behind I can't possibly catch up! Maybe this winter???? Love seeing what everyone comes up with. We all have such varying visions. And with daylilies, the possibilities seem endless!

For the first time I actually have a couple seedlings from a seedling of mine that I think are worth keeping for awhile to see how they do.
Right now they're all still in the seedling bed planted 2-3" apart (poor things).

Here's the parent: LEE REINKE X BELLADONNA STARFISH

And a couple of the kids

A couple sibs [LEE REINKE X BELLADONNA STARFISH] X SCANDINAVIA. The first one has much better branching, but I like the bloom on the second. Isn't that how it always works....

I only have one new seedling blooming today. It's a dip and I think I'll keep it and throw some pollen on it. It's only 19" x2.5" . Would like something similar but taller

I especially lover the rullfed and gold dusted edge. I never have had a border like this ... inconceivable to me like a plant creates that gold dust
