I think all my plants are too new for me to see but, will do a look see in the morning. Have quit a few that are suicidal! Blooming like crazy. I'm sure later this year I will have seed. I moved about 4 suicidal blooming semps to one container so the bees can do their magic. Also have a heuff blooming.

OMG! That is so gorgeous - I hope my Westerlin does this one day. What on earth are you feeding them Lynn?
Nothing, I don't fertilize. But I do give them lots of space in the beds. I can't get them to grow like that in pots.
How do you grow your Jacki?
I like to separate them in the fall, once cooler weather arrives. Plant one or two off to themselves and let them start a colony like the above photo.
I have never had any that produced like the old Houseleek from years past. I miss that semp. It was a crazy semp. It would take 5 to 6 years before it would bloom. It also would grow extremely big. I had some the size of my hands before it would bloom. I had some of them in a brick wall that had very little soil for them to grab on to but they were troopers.
I called it a weed semp along with my favorite weed sedum. These two were my go to plant when I wanted to make a sedum basket a item for winter decor for the porch and a garden gift someone.
Just came across this older thread, while looking up information on a particular semp, and was thrilled to see so many names listed for ones that reproduce quickly! Thanks to all of you who added information!
