Rolling on the floor laughing I love that! 'Red' it is!

I'm doing a happy dance here. I found my favorite potting soil today. Promix is at the Farmer's Coop in Columbia at $30./bale (okay $29.99) Not a bad price and less than a mile from me! Now if I only had money to get a bale!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Wow, that's a great price.

I'm only here to assist, Red! Rolling my eyes.

Promix is wonderful! I had a wholesale nursery near me in GA that sold it, but I haven't found a good source here yet.

I would ask at your local Farmer's Co-op, I think that's where we got ours last year. Maybe...

That's who had this one so maybe yours would too Red. I hope they carry it year round since I usually need a couple of bales or more in the winter.

I went through my 'pot ghetto" this past week and got a lot of things planted out. They may get moved again later, but at least they're in the ground. I'm also making some headway planting out my WS seedlings. It will be nice to have the deck space back again.

Spring is just flying by, and summer will be here before we know it. With all the drenching rains and chilly weather we've had lately, I'm almost looking forward to hot and dry conditions. Remind me I said that this summer when we're all baking in the heat!

I was in Knoxville, Oak Ridge 3 days last week...didn't get as much accomplished but that was the best I could do. i'm in the Dr's loop (noose?) for another week or so of testing/results. roller coaster stuff. and not enough brain power to post here.

but, I planted my WS cucs, 2 types of squash at mine and dad's garden. planted poppies, might be too late. I moved a trug of EE's from my dad's to my house. planted 2 blackberry bushes from my Uncle's. hoed my beans friday night. but I'd say they'll be washed away now. Spring has sprung! coreopsis, poppies, irises, are blooming. my snowball bush is still hanging in there. hosta's I didnt remember planting last year. peonies are about to pop. my lil' azeala. 3 clematis I clipped from my dad are growing. my double columbine is gorgeous! I need to look up the name from last year.

i took some pictures but camera is in the car. i'll post someday, lol

and my BF says she has a pink forsythia...i need to take pics and ID that. it's bugging me..another one of those old timey names.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

That actually IS a whole lot of accomplishing! Stay well, and don't wear yourself out too much.

Pink forsythia, huh? Maybe a weigela or a spirea? If it's really a pink forsythia, we ALL want cuttings!

that doesn't look like the blooms on hers.
it's not spirea for sure. but I better get some shots before it quits blooming.

it's super easy to sprout, like the yellow. thats for sure. she'll share.
remind me if i dont mention again.

this is a bed i made so I could see it from my kitchen window when I'm washing dishes. this is the lower side. the columbine above is on the other side of that stump.

the powderey green is rose campion...mullein they call it around here. there's coneflowers on the left, a butterfly bush and dianthus on that side.

no idea which lilies these are except they were yellows and pinks. They were in a Mother's Day gift pack 3 years ago.
