I've updated the image sets feature this morning to include a dialog box that comes up when you click on a tag.

(This is referring to the public view, not the editing view.)

So now when viewing an image set, you can click on a tag and it'll open a window that shows more information about the plant that was tagged, along with a link to that plant in the database. In think this is a lot more convenient. Smiling

Here is a good example:

Click on any tag to see it in action.

You know Dave, somehow sometime we need to be able to do this with the single pictures. Rolling my eyes. Rolling my eyes.
It is really great on the image sets but if we could tag our individual pictures, In the forums....., too I would really love it. (begging emoticon)

Outstanding new feature, Dave. I tip my hat to you.

Love it!

How about if we could just click on the background to close the pop up instead of having to mouse up to the little X to close? is that possible? So that it works the same as the way we close the pop ups of the photos that we enlarge in the forum threads?

Did that make any sense at all? Sometimes I know what I mean but I have such a hard time typing it... Whistling

Yes, that works great! Hurray!

I know how you like to have things working the same site-wide. The pop up boxes are a little different style, but now they will still close the sme way.

That's really nice! I like the progressive expansion: hovering with the mouse brings up a name, clicking brings up a dialog box, and then following the link to the Plant Database gives you everything.

P.S. I like to "CTRL-click" instead of "click", so that I get a new tab and can always get back to the image set with one click (don't have to use "back - back").

Would it be worthwhile to add "See the Parent Plant entry for this plant" as an option at the bottom of database pages?

Ahh! I checked, but I must have looked at a plant that HAD no parent plant page.

Thank you.

Dave is it possible to give the hyperlink View this plant in our database in blue? Highlighting the link might be helpful on touchscreens.
