Picked tomatoes and had enough to give some to my neighbor plus ones for me. I simply can not believe it. All these tomatoes I am still getting and here it is October 9th.

Tomatoes. I am just astounded to pick so many tomatoes on October 16th. And if I paid more attention and got more of them before rains make them crack, I would have had even more. But this time of year, this is plenty!

And the Juliet Grape tomatoes just never stop. I picked these two bags. There were more on the plants, I just got tired of picking.

I still have peppers on my plants myself. But I cut back the eggplants already, figured any flowers now would never get to make fruits.

Oh, and I have bush beans flowering and pricing really nicely in spite of the cooler nights.

But the tomatoes outdid themselves this year. Just fabulous!

I picked some tomatoes again today. Not very many but geez On October 29th it is a wonder to still have any ripe tomatoes to pick. And those Juliet Grape tomatoes I have are still making tomatoes. I pulled the other small tomato plants I had already, the sweet millions and the Sungold. What I great year this has turned out to be for tomatoes.

Ha-ha. When I was outside today I was snacking on some Juliet grape tomatoes. I can't believe I am eating tomatoes from my garden on November 6th. This is just the greatest year for tomatoes ever here.

I've gotten my herb garden in.......doing everything in big pots this year. Basil, dill, rosemary made it from last year, spicy oregano, thyme, chocolate mint ( thought of you, Marilyn!), cilantro, Greek, thyme.....I think that's it. Keeping the annuals to a minimum this year.

Oh, yes, I do love the chocolate mint, Louise! My spearmint is still looking good, but the nights are supposed to be in the 20s next week, so that will be the end....I picked some dill which reseeded & is growing nicely, but that, too, will be gone. Hate this time of year!
