It is raining so I doubt I will go exercise walking today. Just as well because I overdid it yesterday although a short walk would be nice to do just to get a small amount of exercise in.

I give them to Hope now and then.. just makes them mellow.. I wouldn't say loopy .. not staggering or anything like that.. slows down the fighting between her and Eros.. when she is wound up with the contractor employees outside.. she tries to keep Eros back from the window for whatever reason

It won't stop the fights between them.. but does seem to slow them down.. I don't get the let me protect Eros by beating the heck out of him.. but that is what it seems like

Typical terrier behavior....my female airedale was always bullying her brother.....sometimes he would take it, other times he would chase her, but since he was slowed by a hip problem, Jazz always won! When her brother died, & we got Robin, she would take every single toy away from him...he would never fight back, just cry....sad.

Lily and I did our exercise walking for today. The sun was out in the morning but by the afternoon when we were out it had gone so not as nice out as I had hoped.

I can't believe it. In the past five days I have read this entire thread. I didn't mean to but every time I thought about skipping a few pages something would happen and I had to know what happened next. There was Lily and then Nikki and Bosco and Winston and one of Bosco's roomies had a cyst, but we didn't know that at first, did we, so had to hang on for that and then there were Deb's funnies. So, even if I'm not in the Northeast, could I please be an auditing member of this thread? About the middle of all this it was when Bosco was being held up because the truck broke down, I decided I really need another dog. Just sent a foster back home to his Mum, a friend of mine and there's nobody here to talk to. So found a little guy in a shelter not 10 minutes from my house. He was rescued from a kill list, and isn't too trusty with people but really likes other dogs and critters. I figure I'm retired and got plenty of time for him, so hopefully I'll be meeting him on Saturday.

If I promise not to talk about the weather here during the winter can I hang out here? Huh, huh can I???

Hi Carol....nice of you to drop by....our weather is actually wonderful for January! I would love to foster, but like, Allison, would have a tough time giving them up.....Nicki would love a playmate in the yard, but I don't think she'd be too happy with one in the house....and standard poodles have LOTS of energy....I know Lily does, too, Rita, which is why we are out walking every day.....
