Long extercise walk with Lily today. Many days I do the one mile loop which takes about 45 minutes. But today had more energy so went off on a different direction and we did an hour and 35 minute walk.

I would have to be carried home! A 20 min walk is about as far as I can go! Today was shorter because of the pouring rain.

Until about 4 years ago I used to be able to do nice long walks of 3 miles or more. I can;t do it anymore. Too old!!

Anyway today it is pouring rain so no exercise walk today.

Saturday no exercise walk because of the all day rain. Both yesterday and today the same walk which took just over one hour.

I feel the walking in my achy joints but Lily seems to just keep going.

Little dogs have lots of energy....Lily must love her walks.

Oh yes. Lily is always ready to keep going no matter how much we walk.

So today we only did the common one mile loop on our exercise walk. Hey, at leaat I do get out and walk even if some days I get much further than others.

That's a good walk for me...I read about folks in Utah skiing in their 80s & 90s...I feel like such a slacker!

Walking is great extercise for us older folks. No skiing needed.

Saw a cat running around my neighborhood this morning...no one nearby owns a cat, hope someone didn't dump him off....

Yesterday it rained all day so no exercise walk for me. Exercise walks are quite different from taking Lily out to potty. That could be in the yard but often is right here in front of the house.

Exercise walks we go off walking. Lily thinks the longer the better. So since non e yesterday in the rain today we went off on a nice long walk. I was actually surprised when I looked at the clock after we got home. We were out walking for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Of course I don't walk too fast. I am old and slow!!

That's a long time to walk, Rita! It was quiet on the trail this morning, nippy, with a strong wind.

Todaay we walked the one mile loop. My friend and her dog and Lily and I did that walk today.

It was a beautiful day for a walk...always nicer with a friend!

My friend and I love to tale our exercise walks together whenever we can.

Too cold on our exercise walk today. I had the energy to go further but it was just too cold feeling and I did not really want to be out there. So only did a 45 minute walk and back home.

Then ordered more Viva Raw Frozen Dog Food for Lily. She just loves it and it is so good for her.

I sure did!!! I was wondering what was going on. I even went outside after and looked around to see if there was something like a major crash of some sort.

Then later maybe around 5 or 6 there was a smaller aftershock.

Nicki & I went to the bank where she got a Milkbone...highlight of her day! I thought my landscape crew hit the house with their truck....loud boom & my computer was jumping like a toad! Felt a tremor when I was in San Fransico, but this was worse.

Already did our exercise walk for today. I went earlier as I wanted to be home when the Solar Eclipse starts.
