I just checked VivaRaw Dog Food Website and they just started a new sesional item. Last was Bison and now Goat. So I just ordered a box of Goat Raw Food for Lily.

I love the rare novel proteins that Viva rottates. So interesting. Lily has never had goat before.

I think goat is popular in Jamaica....my sister had Jamaican caretakers, but I did all the cooking for her.

I would love to have goat meat for myself but its not like one can buy iy in the supermarket.

I could never eat goat meat since I see them as pets. Although I have chickens and still eat chicken

No going into the city for me. Too crowded!!

If I had land I would have a few sheep and goats. I would raise the babies for meat and have home grown meat.

I'm like Ronnie...they would be pets for me....I had a hard time eating the neighbors' pig....

Lily will be eating raw frozen goat meat dog food for awhile. Her box of food I ordered from Viva Raw arrived today.

I imagine Lily eats small portions....Nicki eats 2 cups of kibble & 1/2 cup of boiled chicken if it's a good day.....many days , she just walks away from breakfast...

The rain finially stopped and it cleared so Lily and I did go off on an hour exercise walk at 4. There was sun but now that I just got back in the sun is gone again.

Meanwhile outdoors I now seem to have two outdoor cats, Black cat that showed up weeks ago is a full time resident in the yard here now. He hangs out with Shadow the outdoor cat I have had here for many years. He actually follows Shadow wherever he goes. So funny to see the two of them walking around together.

It's super that they get along...Shadow may have been lonely.

Idon't think it was Shadow that was loney. Shadow is always interacting with me and Lily. I think the homeless black cat is lonely as he is the follower. Follows Shadow everywhere.

I don;t know why this cat has no home. He is getting less and less afriad of us and just wants to hang around. He is here because he obviously had no where else to go and found company and food here so stayed.

He doesn't sound feral, he sounds like a dumped pet.....

Yes, I agree. He wants to be friendly but is just still leary. Shadow was afraid at first too but slowly got over it. Follower Cat will get over being shy also I think.

Does your town have low cost spay & neuter? Maybe the new kitty should go to the clinic....we have a mobile unit that comes to our feed store in town.

Yes, the neighbors are trying to trap him to get him neutered.

Both backyard outdoor cats are still here each day. Shadow and his new solid black friend. Meantime sometimes another solid black cat visits but he is not liked by the resident two. He starts fights!!

The other black cat is always yowling. Goes around the yard yowling. He just makes so much noise. And he picks fights. I don't like that at all.

No telling when he will show up. Not here for days and then back here again.

Perhaps he has a home & just leaves occasionally...
