Our low was 26.8 last night and it is forecasted to be 33 tonight. Now we have sunshine and 34, going to 43. Still not tempting to go out and try and get anything done.

We are supposed to be about the same as yesterday for a daytime high. It is cloudy, the morning sunshine has already left. Then snow changing over to rain and rain tomorrow morning. Or so they say.

Yup, I would say any tomatoes out there are frozen to death. Just like my pepper plants!

I waited until 9 to walk Nicki...the temp had climbed to 13....needless to say, it was a short walk....there were 8 cars in the state park lot when I pulled in.....if I didn't have to walk Nicki, I certainly wouldn't have been out there hiking....couldn't feel my face.....warmed to 32 this afternoon....snow, then rain, creeping into the state. Iris, sorry about the thermostat....no heat is just awful! Pixie, glad to hear from you!

So cold! WU says it's 35.4. Hard to believe it. Went to my favorite farm stand and they said they hope to be open through next week. I bought broccoli (far better than any supermarket), potatoes and butternut squash.

The usual mad rush for milk, bread, beer and chips at the supermarket (when any amount of snow is due) was absent but I was there around 3 PM so I didn't get trampled.

Got up to freezing today. I think the 20s tomorrow., A mess is predicted for the morning & the cover is on the car windshield so DH won't have to scrape.

Only a minor trace of snow last night that was gone by 8 AM. Rainy, nasty looking day. It's the kind of day when cleaning the desk is fun. Later I'll tackle storing dahlias. It's the ideal day for it.
