I am very glad the snow washed away quickly.

But then the slush freezes so its not so great. Hate the Arctic cold blast that we are all having. Some places lots colder than here. And it is cold enough here.

Slushy, icy mess this morning....schools closed or delayed.....most of it melted this afternoon when temp hit 40....scary wind chills coming in for Friday.....am thinking of ways to keep house warm & pipes from freezing!

That's what I've done for the few times we lost heat. Then we closed the doors and stayed in the kitchen.

Now 46.4 and very sunny.

I have an electric stove here....no gas lines, so I would have to put in propane which I know is slower than natural gas. The boiling water sounds like a good idea, I've added cinnamon sticks, cloves, & orange peel when I want the house to smell nice....Today was a better day....40....but lots of icy patches everywhere.....even downtown where I walked around after leaving my car for an oil change. Squalls forecast for tonight.....hope our town gets a miss!

Not too bad today. Sunny and 40 degrees. The real cold to get here Thursday and Friday.

Very breezy out here today. Sun ready to go down now. Only 42 but feels so cold out there.

Was nice today, well for Maine. we made it to 36, was sunny and very little breeze. We have some nasty weather coming...although I don't think it will be as bad as they are saying!
