So sorry about this arctic cold that is going around.

The dusting of snow forecasted turned out to be about 4 inches. Then turns to freezing rain. They had said it would all melt by 2 PM but they are nuts. I have to go shovel my walk and I am not happy. At least the temps are up and tomorrow supposed to be in the 50's so it should melt then.

Well I shoveled the path down to the sidewalk from the porch. What a mess. Snow with slush that was freezing underneath. You would shovel and it would stick to the shovel and not even slide off!!

I did a really rotten job but did as best as I could. I didn't want it to all freeze like that uncleared overnight.

I hate to rely on the weather reports. Said that rain would was all away and by this afternoon it would be gone. Instead it is a mess out there.

Try using either Pam, the cooking spray, or a household spray wax, like Pledge to keep the snow from sticking to the shovel. It's hard work to shovel!

It is when it is like today's snow. Never thought of using wax or cooking spray on the shovel!! Thanks!

3" of glop fell overnight. Stopped us from doing errands., with luck as it is warming up we can get out tomorrow.

Another 7" so far today and it hasn't stopped yet! Still cold at 11 degree's but much warmer than yesterday!!!

Rained this afternoon, now turning to black ice with the temps dropping. Can't win

37 now going to 47 by 10 AM .. then dropping again to 20 by tonight.. getting sick for sure

It's 54, almost all traces of snow are gone, overcast, gloomy.

Snow gone here also. Temps way up but since everything is so damp it doesn't feel like a great day. Tomorrow it is only supposed to reach 30 maybe so back to the cold.

Temp hit 48 here, 50 at my sisters.....very dense fog, especially by the water....now the temp is 35....everything will freeze tonight!

Only going to 26 today.. morning commute is going to be a nightmare.. sure there is ice all over

Highs in the 20s here as well.......most of my driveway dried.....just 2 patches of black ice.....tonight is garbage night, so I'm happy I'll be able to get the toters up to the road!
