I have a couple Reckamp/Klehms that have been in the ground for 3 or more years. Two that do really well and multiply in my zone 5 are Choral Angel, and Apricot Serenade. Some of the Klehms I've had for several years have done well and multiply are Peach Procession, Summer Fragrance (very nice). Klehm's Raspberry Swirl is a very different looking DL and slow to multiply, but I don't care. Dynamic Apricot Ruffles was not a happy plant last summer. All the rest of my Reckamp/Klehms and Roy Klehms (about 120 of them) are in pots in the GH (Ruffles Forever, Prairie Ballet, Grandmother, Fringed Blessings, Carrot Snacks, Charlie, Techny Spider, and Old Time Rock N' Roll. Since these are all new to me, I can't report any history. I wanted to get them all in the ground last year, but life happens. So now I'll worry about them until spring. Crown rot is my biggest worry out there. I'm keeping them on the dry side this time. I hope that's the right thing to do.

Diana, how are you protecting your potted daylilies over the winter? Sure hope they come through OK for you. I have only tried leaving one daylily in a pot over the winter. I left it pushed up against the house where I thought it might get enough heat, but it didn't make it.

Mine are in my unheated greenhouse. I think if you are going to leave potted DL's outside all winter, you have to turn the pots on their sides so the ice/freeze/thaw effect won't kill them. You can cover the pots with mulch/leaves to protect them also.

My favorite daylily of all time is Dublin Elaine. It repeats like crazy and the colors on this one are just so perfect. The bloom season is very long for me and it is the best repeat bloomer I have.

This was new to me last year. I hardly ever buy a daylily over two years old, but when I saw this blooming at Larry Graces last year I had to have one. It is a tet with a killer scape and a huge bloom. Its a 2005 by Scott.

Welcome Ge. The color of Chocolate Cherry Dream is wonderful.

Crow, Dublin Elaine is such a nice double. Like that gentle color combination.

Got CTD late last year. I Do not think I used the pollen of CTD but did try to set pods on it without any success. Will try again this year and may use the pollen a little. I may keep it around for a couple more years because with the scape under it I think it will be a good show flower.
This was another outstanding flower the last two years.

Here is a close up of my Penny's Worth. It IS really small, and has grass like foliage.
Mine has started reblooming last season. I just love this one also.

I am truely hookedm on DL's.I dont breed them but love every thing I have seen here.
My lily beds were small until I recieved 75 pounds (approx 150) DL's last Aug.
I will have more to post this summer. Sorry many of them are NOID's so I dont want to occupy too many posts with un named varieties.
This is 42nd Street, new fans last summer from Hallsons.
This was the only bloom on the baby plant
