dave said:Sue is right. The logo does not obscure the left side of the banner. It actually pushes the banner over. The most prominent part of your banner should be inside the first (left most) 700 pixels (or so) of the image. Most people only see about the first 800 pixels of your banner.

This is very good too know.

Just a note here: Most of the declines are because the image is too blurry. I wear glasses and if I find myself adjusting them or squinting to see if I am seeing the image correctly and it's still too blurry for my eyes, then it will be too blurry for a banner. There have been a few and still will be several yet to come, that do have some blurriness but often they are more 'artistic' for lack of a better term and do end up working out well. Since starting the banner management and now understanding what makes a good banner, I was better able to evaluate how they are going to look and I have deleted several of mine that just weren't quite right.
Other declines can also be if a dark space or blank area becomes too prominent in the banner once that ATP logo pushes it over.

Okay, I don't understand the difference between full screen & windowed. The entirety of my screen is covered top to bottom & edge to edge with ATP. To my non techno brain; that means I am full screen but obviously I'm missing something here. Confused

That's full screen. So without being at your computer I can't really say.

I also love the changing banners and the feelings of "heart" and "participation" they bring.

If I right-click on the banner of the day, then choose "View background Image",
I see the whole panorama of the image, left to right, like a length of ribbon.
But I have to back-arrow to get back to the ATP Home page.

I never new what the "background image" was until now, Rick!

Thanks! I tip my hat to you.

You're most welcome!

I didn't, either, until I wanted to peek at the whole banner and hoped.

I just remembered that if you zoom in or out that will affect how much of the banner you see as well. Try resetting the zoom in your browser to default and I bet that'll do it.
