I heard that the county is forcing the Lynds off their land because they want to develop it. I think Mitch is the third generation of his family living on that fruit farm! How awful for them. I wonder how long it would take to relocate and get acres and acres of fruit trees bearing fruit again?? I might have to go out there again one last time. I usually make silly impulse purchases of daylilies when I'm there, so I have not been there in 5 years or so.

I really like Moonlight Orchid and Funny face.

My blooms here in Lakeland were delayed by weather . Normally I have blooms in late March and April and ending in May with few re-bloomers. Now I have corrected the lack of re-bloomers I have blooms yet to come but here a few of my early blooms. This one is Tennessee Sensations. I had a hard time finding the right name for it until I was on Lee Pickles website.(My grandson had removed all my markers one day while my hubby and I were gone for some reason. My da.ughter was not being very vigilant in watching him)

This one is Diamond Shadows, a Munson purple. Love it!

This is one reason I love yellow daylilies. We had 90 degrees yesterday, with a hard rain in the middle of the afternoon.

I took these pictures between 7:30 and 8:00 last night.
