Hello, from SC! I am having a nice time and would like to visit Brown's Ferry Daylilies while staying at Garden City Beach. I sure wish it was during bloom season. Does anyone grow GARDEN CITY BEACH or others Douglas?

I have a couple of Heidi's new dips -- DANCE WITH SOMEBODY and DATING A ROYAL, and I really like them. And I also have BROWNS FERRY SUNLIGHT, which I love as a garden plant -- very bright yellow and really cheerful. And it really is too bad you're there at this time of year -- but maybe something will be reblooming just for you...

I used to know Heidi when she was a fellow member of the Greater Cincinnati Daylily-Hosta Society.

She's nice and friendly!

I don't have any of the Douglas daylilies.

We had our Region 15 summer meeting in Georgetown. So enjoyed visiting Browns Ferry Gardens and getting to know Heidi and Charles. Grow the following..

Well, I finally reached Heidi and she was going to be at the garden this morning. I was excited to meet her. She is very friendly and helpful. I chose BLACK MINGO and GARDEN CITY BEACH. Both of those are Douglas intros. We are staying at Garden City Beach so I thought it would be a nice keepsake. She also had CARNIVAL IN MEXICO which I have been wanting to add.

I would have loved to added PAPA GOOSE to the list, but it is still a bit high for me. If I had a truck to drive back home, I am sure more dls would have been purchased. It will be hard to leave tomorrow with such nice sunrises and sunsets. They are just beautiful!

I photographed her garden when the Nationals were in Cincinnati, it was real nice. I do remember she had an all white themed bed and saw several gorgeous white daylilies.

I have more pics to post later of Browns Ferry Garden. The plants all looked very healthy. I may be sending a order this Spring because we didn't have enough room with all the luggage to purchase more than 3 pots. We are stopping in the mountains tonight, thankfully tomorrow it will only be about 6 more hrs of driving. Check back later, nite.
