Yes the bloom I was hoping for August disappeared on the night of 30th. So no August blooms this season. Sob.

Definitely will be some in September though! That was a nice, long run of blooms, Glen. Wished I had them even 6 months out of the year instead of just a couple of months.

And won't you be posting some lovelies for us in January when we are all crying and whining and moaning about how cold and brown and bleck it is around here? Smiling

Glen,
Sorry you did not end up with any "end chanting" blooms for August.

Undoubtedly there will be blooms this month though. I can see 8 cultivars with scapes now. Oh, I so wanted to try for two years of blooms.

It is so hard to believe it is all but 12 months since I joined ATP. It all seems just like yesterday. So much learnt and experienced.

Ann - The last I heard (it may have been in a post from him) .... he had gotten a new job and was very busy with other things. So my guess is that life goes on and he is in a different place in his life and probably won't post much here. But maybe I am wrong and he will surprise us! It was nice to have him as part of this forum and he made it interesting to hear from someone in Australia.

Yes, I recall that Becky but I still worry about him and wonder and miss. He hasn't added anything to his blog either since Nov. 2014.
