Ok, I know this is not a contest, but assuming it was, what could be done to get them to bloom by the end of the month?
Would more sun speed up the process? Would extra fertilizer help it to bloom faster or just spend more energy on growing leaves?
I have decided water would be the key, any one have any experience with extra watering causing a plant to bloom quicker? I know it results in larger better looking and I think more blooms.
One last drastic measure I can think of, not that I am suggesting it. But how many times have we seen stress cause a daylily to bloom, it is probably too late for that now, but I have often stressed a plant in the act of transplanting and was surprised to see the result was extra early blooming.
