I don't have that one in the photo I presented, Jo Ann. Lovely photos and that Monarda is absolutely beautiful. My only color echoes with any monarda would be gray to match the powdery mildew.

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
I have both Color Flash and Color Flash Lime. Just planted 2012 so last season was the first. It needs to mature another year before it really has some girth and bloom.
What grew last season wasnt impressive at least Flash.I didnt see the bronze leaves .It just had regular greenies.
They both have another year before I declare them non copus mentis.
Not that bright of a lime is it? I did see the Color Flash at a nursery this fall, they had it planted in the ground (display garden) and the fall color was great.
Hmmmmm maybe I will keep a closser eye on mine as the season ends.I was under the impression it was bronze all season.
Both Flashes are best known for their leaves, blooms are nothing to write home about.

Pirl I love the dark iris pics! Do you remember which one it was?
Jo Ann you have so many beautiful scenes.
I fell in love with Jmorth's picture the first time I saw it. The colors are fabulous together!!
My color flash Lime has never looked like anything special. Evans looks really nice though so maybe I haven't found the right spot.
Sorry, Susie. I had plant loving neighbors on both sides and one bought the loveliest irises and she'd split them and give them to me as her beds got crowded.
Getting the lime green to show off sometimes takes a dark heuchera or an actea to heighten the difference.
